Blue whale blow

The blue whale is a marine mammal and is the largest animal known to have ever existed. Late spring to early summer, when the temperature is reaching an certain level, they are arrive in the fjords of Svalbard, to feed.

We observed several blue whale, and went quickly out.  We placed us in the midle of the fjord, waiting for them to come close to us.

This picture is taken from my boat, at midnight, in a lovely light from the midnight sun.
