Most of the birds(minus one-1), at the archipelago of Svalbard, are migrating birds. Also the big and beautiful glaucous gull are migrating from the archipelago, during the fall. This picture is taken 01th of October, on one of the last days we saw this fantastic bird, around Longyearbyen. They are leaving for the Barents Sea, where they stay the whole winter, seeking food.
